Stylam Industries Limited has commenced commercial production at its new laminate manufacturing plant at Manak Tabra, Panchkula, Haryana, effective September 22, 2026.
The new facility has been established adjoining the company's existing plant as part of its capacity expansion plans. Stylam Industries had earlier announced the setting up of the plant in January 2024.
According to the company's regulatory disclosure, the new Manak Tabra-2 facility will add approximately 5.25 crore square metres per annum of laminate manufacturing capacity, considering a laminate thickness of 1 mm. The capacity is equivalent to around 60,000 tonnes per annum.
₹300 Crore Investment in Capacity Expansion
Stylam Industries has invested approximately ₹300 crore in the new manufacturing facility. The company stated that the investment is being financed through internal accruals.
Before the expansion, Stylam Industries had manufacturing facilities at Panchkula and Manak Tabra-1, with an aggregate laminate production capacity of approximately 8.60 crore square metres per annum, considering 1 mm thickness, or 80,000 tonnes per annum.
The company's existing capacity utilisation was approximately 90%.
New Plant to Support Growing Demand
The company said the capacity expansion is aimed at enhancing its manufacturing capabilities to meet the growing demand for its products and support future business growth.
With the addition of the Manak Tabra-2 facility, Stylam Industries is expanding its production infrastructure in Haryana and increasing its ability to cater to demand for laminate products in domestic and international markets.
The commercial production at the new facility began on September 22, 2026, marking the operational commencement of the capacity addition announced by the company.
