Most 1BHK house plans make you choose between a roomy living area and a car park. This 25x40 north-east facing plan doesn't. On a 1000 sq ft plot, it gives you a full-size bedroom, a separate dining area, a proper living room and covered parking, all on one floor.

The 25X40 North East Facing 1BHK House Plan in a Nutshell

This is a single-storey home for a 25 by 40 ft plot, with the entrance on the north-east side. At the front, the plan splits into two. On one side is the parking bay, and right next to it is the 12'0"×16'0" living room. That means guests arrive straight into the sitting area and never have to walk through the private rooms.

Move further in, and you reach the 11'0"×13'0" dining area, which sits in the middle of the house like a hub. The kitchen is just beside it, 12'0"×9'8" with a long platform, so cooking, serving and eating all happen within a few steps. You will also get an internal staircase for the day you decide to build upward.

At the back is the 12'0"×13'0" bedroom, with plenty of space for a bed, wardrobe and a small study table. Two toilets, each 4'10"×9'8", sit side by side between the bedroom and the parking area, so one can serve the bedroom and the other can serve guests and the common areas.
