Tejas Cargo India Limited has deployed a Blue Energy Motors electric heavy-duty truck for Dalmia Cement’s cement transportation operations in Rajgangpur, Odisha. The deployment brings together Dalmia Cement, Tejas Cargo and Blue Energy Motors as the companies expand the use of electric heavy-duty vehicles in industrial freight operations.
The electric truck will be operated by Tejas Cargo to support Dalmia Cement’s logistics requirements in the region. According to the companies, the initiative is aimed at reducing transportation-related emissions and supporting the adoption of lower-emission freight solutions.

Blue Energy Motors said its commercial fleet includes more than 1,400 LNG and electric heavy-duty green trucks operating across major freight corridors in India. According to company figures reported in connection with the deployment, these vehicles have collectively travelled more than 122 million kilometres and helped avoid more than 33,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
The latest deployment adds another industrial application to the company's growing heavy-duty vehicle operations.
