Shalimar Paints Welcomes Kuldip Raina as New MD & CEO

Shalimar Paints Limited has announced a major leadership change with the appointment of Kuldip Raina as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO). The decision was approved by the company’s Board of Directors and is effective from April 10, 2025, to April 9, 2028, pending approval from the shareholders.

This move comes after a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and represents a strategic shift aimed at accelerating business growth and operational excellence for the brand.

The Visionary Behind the Colours: Kuldip Raina

Kuldip Raina is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of experience in the paints, FMCG, consumer products, and organised retail sectors. He joined Shalimar Paints in May 2022 and currently holds the position of Director – Sales, Marketing and Strategic Sourcing.

Raina is known for driving transformational growth and revitalising brands through strong business strategies, effective profit centre operations, and impactful sales and marketing initiatives. Before joining Shalimar Paints, he was the CEO of Nerofix Private Limited, part of the Kansai Nerolac Group, where he established the brand in the adhesives and construction chemicals market.

His professional journey also includes leadership roles at Kansai Nerolac Paints, Jubilant Industries, Arvind Brands, and ITC Limited. The company confirmed that he is not related to any current director and is not debarred by SEBI or any other authority.
